Privacy Policy

The Tracker uses Google Sign-In as its only account method. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us, and we store those along with a Google account identifier to recognize you on future visits. We don’t collect or store your Google password — authentication happens entirely through Google.

Everything you enter into the Tracker — tournaments, rounds, match results, notes, and saved loadout builds — is stored against your account so it’s there the next time you sign in. This data is private to your account; other signed-in users cannot see your tournament records, matches, or loadouts.

We also record a rough “last seen” timestamp while you have the app open, used only to keep live tournament sessions responsive.

If you submit a Beyblade community to be listed on the Near Me map, we collect the community name, an optional logo image, its approximate location, and its Facebook/Messenger contact links, along with your name and email as the requester. You explicitly agree to these details being used for that purpose before submitting.

Once a submission is approved, the community name, logo, approximate location, and contact links become publicly visible on the Near Me map to anyone using the Tracker — that’s the intended purpose of the listing. Your personal requester name and email are not shown publicly; they’re used only to reach you about the submission if needed.

When you open the Near Me map, your browser may ask permission to share your device’s approximate location. That location is used only to center the map in your browser and is never sent to or stored on our servers unless you separately submit it as part of a community listing.

Community logo images you upload are stored using Amazon S3. We generate a short-lived, restricted upload link for each image so it can be sent directly to storage; the resulting file is only used to display that community’s logo.

The public landing page of the Tracker displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at www.aboutads.info. Signed-in dashboard pages of the Tracker do not display ads.

We don’t sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the Tracker work: Google (sign-in and, on the public landing page, advertising), a MongoDB-hosted database and AWS (image storage and map/location services) for infrastructure, and our hosting provider to serve the site itself. Community listing details you choose to submit are shared publicly on the Near Me map, as described above.

We keep your account and tournament data for as long as your account exists, so your history stays available across sessions. If you’d like your account and associated data deleted, contact us through the channel below and we’ll remove it.

The Tracker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Tracker after a change means you accept the updated policy.
